"Your SPF salve is amaaazing!! Yesterday we went to the river. I layered it with some other spf and didn't burn at all. However, I forgot to do my back! I burned, but the salve after the sun made it look so good, less than a day later. I don't know if you meant for it to be an after sun salve, but it WORKS. I have fair skin and usually peel like crazy when I get red. Thank you!!"

"The Poppy & Lavender soap is hands down the best soap I have ever used. It's been hard to try Meraki's other soaps because I love this one so much. I'm not typically a lavender girl, but the smell is subtle and lovely. The soap contains real poppy seeds, so it's a natural exfoliant. I don't use nearly as much lotion as I used to because this soap doesn't leave me dried out. I love it so much, I've given it as gifts to other people. Do yourself a favor, and definitely try this soap!"

"I “discovered” Lu many years ago through her social media. I’ll never forget the first time I saw one of her videos. She was spraying tiny seedling starters with water while very beautifully and passionately discussing current events in a way that was so grounded and real. It was such a contrast to the frequently performative online allyship and faux activism I had been seeing all around. I immediately wanted to know her.

Over the years I purchased a couple of things from her online Farmacy, and was delighted with each and every one of them. I was always learning something from her, and my spirit felt nourished every time we connected. We continued to stay in contact long after I left social media.

Recently I have been going through a very intense and uncomfortable time in my life. I have been burnt out, in physical and emotional pain, and found myself taking prescription medications again for the first time in many years just to get by. I reached out to her for a product recommendation and we both realized I would benefit from an actual 1:1 consult, which I was able to easily book through her website.

I can hardly describe how healing our session was. Lu is extremely generous with her time and knowledge. She did a very thorough assessment of me. Not only is she a plant expert, she took time to research my medications to ensure that her recommendations would be compatible and safe. I trust her so much, I essentially asked her for “the works” - a full protocol of nervous system and body supporting products.

She went above and beyond in what she delivered. She typed out a 4 page protocol for me, detailing all of the plant buddies that were in my shipment. She included things I wouldn’t even have considered or thought of, as well as a few freebies and resources.

It is clear that she has not only a scientific knowledge of plants, but truly intuitive gifts that make her such a talented practitioner. Above all else, I knew in my heart how deeply she cared about me. I told her things in the session that I had deep shame about, and was received with the most gentle and supportive care. She cares about everything like that - humans, plants, animals, and the world. She is contributing to the betterment of all of us. I am eternally grateful for her.

TLDR: Lu is a skilled herbalist and top-notch human. She brings a grounded, deeply compassionate, and uniquely intuitive perspective to her customers (and her plants/products). I feel extraordinarily lucky to be able to work with her, and the love she pours into the plants resonates in everything she makes. She is a gift to the world."

Lu is a gifted farmer/grower, maker, practitioner, teacher, and healer.

I discovered Lu on the internets talking about plants and plant medicine, and was immediately taken by their open demeanor, knowledge, humor, and generous spirit. I left the consult feeling seen and honored, and buoyed by Lu's insight and encouragement. Lu generously put together a combination of products that would work together well and fit my limited budget. She also provided the information I needed about how to optimally introduce and use them, and was open to questions and follow-up. It really helped me to navigate entering into the world of plant-based healing.
