Don't let the name of scutellaria lateriflora scare you - this is a beautiful plant with small, beautiful flowers, a tendency to grow outward, and a relaxing nervine.

1 oz glass dropper bottle, tincture.

Skullcap

$14.00Price
  • I grow the Mad Dog variety, with blue- purple trumpet shaped flowers. Skullcap is a native, perennial, wild flower to this continent, likes to bloom from July - September. I gather aerial parts before and during flowering, always leaving some to keep growing. I started some from seed readily, and this cutie is taking over a container.

A member of the mint family, always keep these babes boundaried and in containers, trust us.

I'll get some great, close up pictures of the flowers this year. It kinda looks like bugleweed, also a cutie and generous plant teacher.
